Coffee & Cowboys-Mochalux Coffee

Members & guests enjoyed an evening of gourmet coffee & delicious treats sponsored by TrendSet events. Guests received free chair massages provided by licensed massage therapists Kenneth Dawes & Eloise Matthews while enjoying the musical stylings of Pete Link. Official HALO Society mugs, sponsored in part by Volume Specialties, were available for purchase. Our special guest speaker Jack Hill, Director of Stadium Construction for the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington gave us the inside scoop.

Annual Fundraiser for CASA of Tarrant County

Over 190 guests were in attendance for HALO Society's first ever annual fundraiser benefiting CASA of Tarrant County. Thousands of dollars were raised for charity while members enjoyed casino gaming, delicious food, & drinks provided by Miller & Mobile Margarita. HALO Society & the Fort Worth Cats present...A Day at the Ballpark

On June 1st, 2008, members & guests of HALO Society enjoyed a day at the ballpark. The event kicked off at 12pm with tailgating "HALO-Style." Everyone enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs, and all the fixings with a cool beverage. After a special speaker and short program, we watched the Fort Worth Cats take on the Grand Prairie Airhogs. Thanks to everyone who attended and a special welcome to all our new members who joined at the game!
Graduation Party for Foster Youth
Summer 2008
A graduation party was held at CASA of Tarrant County to honor youth in the foster care system who are graduating from high school. The party included delicious food, great gifts for the grads and fun for all. This graduation party was sponsored in part by a monetary donation from HALO Society .
HALO Society's Apple Tree Project
Summer Mixer & Apple Tree Project Kick-Off
On July 10, 2008, HALO Society members and guests enjoyed a mixer at Embargo in downtown Fort Worth. Members enjoyed refreshing beverages from Embargo and a sandwiches, chips, along with fresh fruit & vegetable trays sponsored by Jason's Deli, Camp Bowie location. Our program of events included a business card raffle, a story from the warm fuzzy archives, and information all about the Apple Tree Project from Director Pam Chapin. Attendees were given the opportunity to donate funds for the Apple Tree Project or take an "apple" to shop for a child. Again special thank you's to Embargo & Jason's Deli, Camp Bowie for helping us make this event a success!
